1989-90 Played
for Failand School of Excellence under Dave Burnside,
England U19 Coach. Many of the players involved in the
program, made up of the best players in Bristol, went on to
play professional football. Whilst at Failand School of
Excellence enjoyed trails with Arsenal, Stoke City & Bristol
City.
1991-93 Played
for Bristol City Under 18’s team in the Somerset Senior
Youth League. Finished top scorer in the league.
1992-94 Coached
at the F.A. School of Excellence in Nailsea, England.
Worked closely with Paul Taylor, who later became Manager of
Bristol City F.C. Youth Academy.
1993-95 Signed
Professional forms in April 1993 after scoring 23 goals in
the South East Counties League. Helped Bristol City to the
Quarter Finals of the F.A. Youth Cup, although scoring a
hat-trick on the night, Bristol City were knocked out 4:3 by
Norwich City. Made a couple of appearances for Bristol City
senior side at the time playing in English Division 1.
April 1995 -
Signed for Stafford Rangers F.C. in the English Conference
League, until the end of the season, scoring 6 goals in 12
games.
August 1995 –
Enrolled at Hofstra University in New York on a soccer
scholarship. America East Conference Player of the Year,
1997-98. Regional All-American 1st team selection, Fall
1997, All-America East Conference 1st team selection, Fall
1997 & 1998, Hofstra University Soccer MVP, 1996-97.
1996-1999 Scored
a Hofstra school record 50 career goals.
2000 – Joined
the NY Irish Rovers F.C. and won league & cup honors
including a NY State Cup.
2001 – Part of
the team from Flynn’s Inn, Queens NY. Flynn’s Inn
represented the USA & after defeating teams from around the
world, were crowned champions of the Carlsberg Pub Cup in
Sweden.
2001-2003 – Won
League & NY State Cup with the NY Irish Rovers.
2002-2003 –
Played for New York Freedom in the D-3 Pro League. First
Season finished in 2nd position in the regular season.
Reaching the quarter finals of the playoffs.
2004 Played in
the Tropical League Div 1 for Port St. Lucie Inter. Lost in
the final of the State Cup open age
2005/2006 Played
in the Jupiter & Palm Beach Gardens over 30’s Leagues
2005/2006
Tropical & Indiantown open age League Player
2006 - Played on
the Palm Beach Ambassadors Over 30’s State Cup Team that
reached the final in Cocoa Beach.
2004 – Head
Coach of Mako U12 Boys Select Team
2005/2006 – As
Head Coach, guided the Mako U9Girls select team to a
respectable 4th place finish in the FLUGSA league,
consisting of South Florida’s strongest girls teams.
Girls U10 Select
team finished 2nd in the Prestigious Disney Tournament,
defeating strong FLUGSA competition on the way to the final.
2006 - Member of
the Mako Soccer Club Professional Training Staff - Provided
technical training for Mako Soccer Club Recreational &
Select teams.
